A stunning book. It is fantastic. Outstanding. Wonderful. I urge you to read this book. I read this book when I was in my 20s. I hated that I was like the bookish intellectual. Zorba seems so much cooler.
But you know something, Zorba had lots of faults. He really wasn’t cool. He was fun, but he wasn’t cool. He was a lost soul. The bookish nerd learned from him, but Zorba learned from the nerd.
In the end, the main takeaway for me was that Zorba couldn’t play the sintari on demand. He had to have the right feeling in order to play.
